This Payment Policy outlines how you, as a Client, can pay for digital products and services provided by SHOPLYST LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as the "Company", "we", "us"). We strive to make the payment process as simple, secure, and transparent as possible.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • • Online payments via Stripe — our primary payment processor handling all transactions.
  • • Integrated payment options: depending on your location, Stripe may automatically offer payment via Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Klarna, etc.

Important: We do not accept cash, bank checks, or direct transfers to our bank account for your security.

2. Payment Security

  • • PCI Compliance: Since we use Stripe, your card information is processed according to PCI standards. SHOPLYST LIMITED does not see or store your full card number or CVV code. Data entry occurs via secure fields or Stripe-hosted pages. We only receive transaction confirmation. Our site uses SSL encryption for secure data transmission.
  • • Fraud Prevention: Stripe may decline suspicious transactions (e.g., those failing 3D Secure or address verification). If your payment is declined, please verify your details and try again or contact your bank. We may request additional information to verify the payment. We reserve the right to refuse payment if legality cannot be confirmed.
  • • Data Handling: Personal data collected during payment (billing address, email, phone) is used for transaction processing and fraud prevention in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not store card data, though Stripe may retain tokenized info for refunds or future authorized charges.
  • • 3D Secure: Customers with 3D Secure-enabled cards will be prompted to complete an additional authentication step (e.g., entering a code from the bank). This is a mandatory security measure. Contact your bank if you experience issues.

3. Currency and Exchange Rates

Prices on the website are listed in Euros (€) or British Pounds (£). When paying in other currencies, your bank may convert the amount using its own exchange rate and fees. We do not control exchange rates or bank fees.

4. Taxes and VAT

SHOPLYST LIMITED is a UK-based company. Prices may include or exclude VAT depending on your location and applicable laws. If VAT is included, it will be indicated during payment or on the receipt. We comply with UK and EU tax regulations.

5. Payment Confirmation

After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt. You will also gain access to the digital product as specified on the product page (e.g., download link or account access).

6. Failed Payments

If your payment fails (due to insufficient funds, technical issues, or payment gateway rejection), you will see an error message and the order will not be processed. Please try another payment method. Contact your bank if you believe this is an error. We cannot reserve products/services without payment.

7. Overpayments and Duplicate Payments

If a duplicate or incorrect payment occurs, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and refund any overpayments. Please provide proof of payments.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

If a payment dispute arises, we recommend contacting us first to resolve the issue. If a chargeback is initiated, we will provide supporting evidence to the bank/Stripe. If the chargeback is unjustified and we prove payment authorization, you may be liable for payment and associated fees. Payments appear on statements as “SHOPLYST LIMITED [Description].”

9. Payment Installments

We generally do not offer installment plans beyond deposit + final balance. Any exceptions will be documented in writing. Failure to meet payment deadlines may be considered cancellation with forfeiture of payments. Please notify us early if you anticipate payment difficulties.

10. Refunds via Stripe

Refunds issued by SHOPLYST LIMITED will be processed through Stripe to the original payment method. See our Refund Policy for details. Refund processing times depend on your bank, usually 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned only to the original payer’s card/account.

11. Payment Errors

If you believe an incorrect amount was charged, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate and refund if necessary.
